Tyler Spencer was incredibly helpful during the preapproval process when we were looking to purchase our home. I lost count on how many quotes he sent us when we running different numbers. He was always so responsive and sent over the quotes in a timely manner. We had many questions as first time home buyers and he always took the time to explain everything thoroughly. He was also able to lock in the best rate possible for us. If you want to work with someone who is communicative, helpful, knowledgable, and friendly, I highly recommend Tyler with Meridian Bank!

10/10 highly recommend Meridian Bank and especially Mario Orlando! He was awesome from start to finish our family couldn't thank him enough for his dedication to our loan process and for all the help he was when it came to completing and understanding all the documents that was needed for our 203k loan! We would definitely 100% recommend this Bank and Mr Orlando to any family or friends looking to purchase a home no matter the loan they are trying to achieve.

Meridian Bank, and specifically Brent Mendelson, made my mortgage experience easier than I expected. This wasn't my first mortgage, so I knew it was going to be intrusive and painful. But Brent and his team were so easy to work with, answered all my questions accurately and quickly, and made the experience a lot easier than my previous experiences. They were very professional and I highly recommend them.

Mario Orlando with Meridian Bank was very thorough, knowledgeable, and result-driven. He was great for navigating the grant process with Baltimore City, provided one of the best lender offers we could find, and was an overall great resource. We highly recommend Mario and we are so happy we had him on our side. We were in a difficult position to close within 30-days due to multiple holidays during that time. We genuinely think that we could not have closed on time (which we did!) without him.

Mario explained each step of the loan process very thoroughly and made it easy for a first time home buyer. He was even able to get me a nice grant which no other mortgage company was able to get me. 10/10 would refer to a friend.

What an amazing experience with Mario, Leanne, and the rest of the Meridian Bank team!! Mario helped me purchase my first home, and I am excited that he just helped me purchase my next home too. He is extremely knowledgeable and walks you through every step of the process. He is a real advocate for customers and makes sure that the loan fits your family's needs. He also helped me with a lot of "what if" questions. Buying a house is stressful, but the Meridian Bank team made it a smooth process. I highly recommend them!!

We have used April Freitag for loans for homes and refinances for over 10 years (bought and refinanced over 4 times) . We even followed her when she moved to Meridian Bank. She is kind, professional and very good at communication. She makes the whole process go smoothly (along with her colleagues) as we know she has our backs. April and her colleagues are great at communicating what they need from us so we can prepare it for them. We never had to step in an office (although you can if you prefer) so it’s very convenient at a hectic time. April goes above and beyond for us, her customers (no relations). So, if you want a smooth loan process, I’d highly recommend using April Freitag and her colleagues!

We were first time home buyers and didn't really know much about buying a home. The house we purchased was through a private sale and therfore we didn't use a realtor. Mario and Leanne were amazing and helped us through every step of the way ! They were patient, answered all of our questions, told us exactly what we needed to do and when and set us up with a title company. They made the whole process very easy and they were always available/got back to us right away. Even before we found our house, we put a couple of offers on other houses and Mario would get us our pre-approval letters right away, regardless of whether it was a weekday ,evening or weekend. We are grateful for Mario and Leannes hard work and will definitely use them again in the future !!

From the start Mario was in-tune with our unique circumstances. At the outset and every step along the way he shared his knowledge and experience of the process and was ALWAYS responsive—we NEVER received a voicemail to call him back. Whenever an issue arose we ALWAYS got the sense that he really cared about us personally and did everything to work out a “solution”. The online process and uploading documents was amazing and extremely easy to navigate—Never experienced any glitches. Leanne Harris too as the Processor was great at moving things along and she too was kind, professional and ALWAYS responsive—many times within minutes.Mario your team is awesome, I look at it as a football analogy. You’re the quarterback, Leanne is the running back, and Jean, our Realtor is the wide receiver. You made the call in the huddle. Everyone, knows the play. You get to the line, and you suspect the defense knows the play. You don’t want to use a time out because you only have one left. You call an audible, the defense thinks the ball is going to the wide receiver. The ball is snapped, the defense pulls right, you fake to the wide receiver, and give the ball to the running back, up the middle. Touchdown. 🏈🏡Thank you ALL for not giving up on us or throwing in the towel and working hard to pull off a WIN!!!We’re telling all our neighbors, family and friends who to call. Our loan officer was very prompt with all communication and requests for information. He provided supporting statements for unique requests by the seller. The process was moving so fast, and it was uncomfortable for us but he did a great job letting us know we had plenty of time to get information together and made the whole process much smoother. We worked with our loan officer for two loans now and would be glad to work with him again.
